Garnish & Gather was founded in the fall of 2012 by Emily Golub out of her desire to cook more & eat local. CSA membership with a local farm was the gateway drug to all things food, and the next thing she knew she was pickling okra & tending an herb garden. This desire to cook more & eat local soon became Garnish & Gather, a place to share her love of farm-fresh food & help solve the dinnertime dilemma. Aimed at connecting folks with locally grown foods, Atlanta’s best chefs & teaching creative cooking techniques, G&G is dedicated to creating easy & wholesome meals that everyone at your table will love. It’s as simple as garnishing your meal & gathering together.
Native Atlantan, adventurous home cook & mom of twin boys, Emily loves local food. Together with her husband Lucas and toddlers, Eli & Jack, the Golub family can be found scouting farmers markets and exploring local eats when they’re not dutifully taste-tasting G&G meals.
Devoted cat mom to Harvey Shirley & casserole queen, Rachel likes camping under the stars, cooking in big batches and waxing nostalgic (Lisa Frank, anyone?). As G&G’s CHO (Chief Happiness Officer), Rachel is always down for a good joke & bouts of raucous laughter. Good vibes only.
Graphic design maven and avid antiquer, Abbie likes to spend her time running on the Beltline, making home-made pasta & working on crossword puzzles (that she rarely finishes). You’ll find Abbie diligently searching out the most exciting new food spots around town--it’s all part of the job.

The Gatherers The team of Gatherers preps & packs meal kits & local groceries out of the G&G kitchen in Morningside. Often spotted picking up bundles of fresh fruits & veggies from local farmers markets, G&G Gatherers hand pack each meal with attention & care so that every dinner turns out perfectly!
